Preparing Your Kids For Travel
Most of the time if you’re off on holiday, or even somewhere a bit closer, with your children, you’re going through the motions and preparing yourself for the journey and forget about the kids. As a small child, unfamiliar places and stressed parents can make for a very scary experience.
Think About How They Will Travel
If you’re flying, will you need a car seat? If you choose not to take one, how will this affect travel when you arrive at your destination? Certain countries have laws considering car seats that must be abided by. If you’re not considering using a car, think about taking your pushchair with you. Travel systems from Britax are multipurpose; compatible with baby seats that allow you to take your baby in the pushchair, in the car, or carry them individually.
Babies, Toddlers and Young Children
Don’t talk about the trip more than a day or so in advance- you’ll get children too excited or anticipatory. Tell your children what will happen, and continue to narrate the day as it goes on. Story books are always helpful as they help the child to imagine what will happen. Ask them what they would like to take, and what they would like to do on the journey- though make sure if they pack their own bags that it is all suitable. A favourite toy is always helpful too, as the child will have to help the toy get ready for the journey too.

...everything is alright.

Great blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere?
A design like yours with a few simple adjustements would really make my blog shine.
Please let me know where you got your theme.
Kudos
Its all custom except for the layout which originally was CrayonWorld (details in the footer of my blog). I changed the colors, and made my own header. Thank you!
